About the Role 

As a Google Search Marketing Specialist, you will act as a specialist within the Google paid search/PPC marketing environment to build and optimise our clients paid search campaigns. The individual will collaborate with our internal teams to develop a customer acquisition strategy that will meet and exceed their client's KPIs. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Research keywords for Google Paid Search campaigns. 
  • Analyse marketing research and write ad copy for search ads and extensions. 
  • Implement current best practices for structuring ad accounts, campaigns, ad groups, and keyword lists. 
  • Manage both Google Paid Search and Google Shopping campaigns. 
  • Collaborate with externals teams to facilitate the development of assets needed for paid search management including but not limited to image and video edits, landing pages, and marketing research. 
  • Run structured tests using Google Ad experiments to improve campaign performance. 
  • Manage negative keyword lists and update negative keywords to buffer our ads from irrelevant searches. 
  • Implement technical integrations between both Google and non-Google properties including but not limited to Google Ads, Google Merchant Center, Google Analytics, and Shopify. 
  • Communicate directly with clients to receive access to advertising essentials including but not limited to ad accounts and creative assets. 
  • Communicate directly with clients to provide updates on ad account performance that consist of KPIs and strategic insights. 
  • Work along with paid search analysts and account managers in identifying brands and trends and using that paid search experience. 
  • Meet KPIs such as CTR or Click-Through Rate, conversion rate, CPA or Cost Per Acquisition, CPC or Cost Per Click, quality score, and Keyword Performance.

Position Prerequisites 

  • At least one year of SEM/PPC experience is required. 
  • Ability to navigate Google Workspace, Slack, Microsoft Excel, Google Ads Editor, and Google Merchant Center. 
  • Experience in eCommerce is a must. 
  • Certifications in Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and Facebook BluePrint will be a big plus. 
  • Specific knowledge of PPC marketing google paid search, and people management experience will be a plus. 
  • Ad agency experience is an advantage. 
  • Strong understanding of keyword modifiers and buyer psychology. 
  • Ability to manage competing expectations and priorities and is open to learning and pushing for the next level. 
  • Knowledge of bidding strategies and when to adjust bids. 
  • Ability to make data-driven decisions based on campaign metrics. 
  • With a growth-oriented mindset. 
  • Excitement to grow and learn valuable skills within a fast-paced environment. 
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and client-driven environment. 
  • Ability to collaborate in a team environment.

  • 08:00 am to 04:30 pm, Colombia Time, Monday to Friday.
  • 09:00 am to 05:30 pm, EST, Monday to Friday.
