About the Role 

As an Email Marketing Manager, you own and drive email and SMS revenue by defining strategy, managing campaigns through execution, measuring performance and reporting results to clients.  

You keep a constant pulse on clients’ business metrics and marketing KPIs and leverage that information to recommend creative campaigns to reach their revenue goals.

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Understand clients’ brands, products and past campaign performance to develop new initiatives to achieve their business and marketing goals.
  • Work with Marketing Managers and Account Strategists to strategise, execute and analyse full-funnel marketing campaigns.
  • Own email and SMS marketing campaign, workflow and promotion strategy and execution which includes testing, managing and analysing performance.
  • Identify, analyse and interpret data to create strategies that improve new and ongoing marketing campaigns as needed to hit client goals and email and SMS KPIs.
  • Ensure all assets and campaigns (email and SMS campaigns, etc.) are in line with best practices, stay on brand and perform at or above industry standards.
  • Cross-collaborate with the entire marketing team to ensure multi-channel campaigns have cohesive messaging and goals. 
  • Create and deliver detailed, client-ready analyses and recommendations for email and SMS campaigns and initiatives.
  • Ensure initiatives that you own are completed on time and within budget.
  • Keep up with new marketing trends, software and strategies to ensure the Monetisation department stays innovative and competitive.

Position Prerequisites 

  • 5-7 years of experience in email and SMS workflow and campaign strategy and execution which includes testing, managing, and analysing performance. 
  • Ability and experience in identifying, analysing, and interpreting data to create strategies to improve email and SMS marketing campaigns that meet revenue goals. 
  • At least two years of experience in an agency or client-facing role with excellent communication skills in English.
  • Experienced in building email and SMS workflows and doing the execution.
  • Must have a love for email and SMS marketing. 
  • Familiarity with Klaviyo, Attentive, MailChimp, and other ESP and SMS platforms. 
  • Ability to navigate Google Workspace and Slack. 
  • Knowledge of CAN-SPAM and other email compliance regulations. 
  • Strong communication skills, grammar, and attention to detail. 
  • Understanding of best practices for email accessibility and deliverability. 
  • Ability to make data-driven decisions based on campaign metrics.
  • Excitement to grow and learn valuable skills within a fast-paced environment. 
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise responsibilities. 
  • Exhibit flexibility when handling multiple tasks. 
  • Ability to effectively communicate with Designers in an understanding way.

Shift Time  

  • 9:00 am to 6:30 pm, Colombia time, Monday to Friday.
