About the role

The Account Executive is responsible for ensuring the Digital Producers and Quality Assurance teams are effectively managing their work by providing project management, leadership, mentorship, training, processes and closely monitoring personal and project performance through regular reporting.

Responsibilities and expectations

  • Lead the operational performance of the Production team, including the on-time and on-budget delivery of work.
  • Lead the professional development of the Production team through regular performance reviews
  • Being a point of escalation for the Production team if there are issues regarding task budgets, briefs, technical limitations or resourcing
  • Providing reporting to the Executive Team on Production team performance, project profitability, project timelines, utilisation and resource forecasting
  • Creating and implementing processes that create efficiencies for the Production team that help create greater utilisation and profitability of time
  • Work with the Head of Client Strategy and the Head of Client Management to review task budgets and collaborate on reporting for the Executive Team
  • Reviewing and monitoring the performance of internal business solutions to ensure they meet the company standards and function effectively and efficiently
  • Coordinate the task distribution for the production team
  • Complete weekly reporting on project timelines and budget
  • Resource reporting on effective hours, unbillable hours and available hours
  • Resolve deadline conflicts between concurrent projects across production resources
  • Management of Project Management software (Currently Asana)
  • Complete post project performance summaries
  • Collaborate with other department leaders (Sales, Creative, Accounts and Development) to streamline projection for concurrent projects
  • Collaborating with the executive team on services scoping and pricing

Knowledge

  • Authority on the company's business, operations, processes, products, services and management systems
  • High level knowledge of effective employee management, motivation and leadership techniques and how best to utilize them within the company's business model
  • High level understanding of utilisation and resource management/ forecasting
  • Detailed understanding of operational intelligence tools and the effective methodologies for creating synergies between complimentary business units
  • High level understanding and practical knowledge of of project management, project budget management, timeline management and how to problem solve issues from multiple concurrent projects
  • High level understanding of conflict resolution
  • High level understanding project management software and strategies to empower production resource to be effective
  • High level understanding project performance key metrics and reporting methodologies
  • Understanding of employee management strategies and how to maximize team efficiency

About you

You have a high-level leadership skills, including being able to motivate and maximize the performance of team members. As the manager, you should be able to lead high performing teams and groups of diverse professionals across global locations You also have high level communication, client management and dispute resolution skills.

  • Ability to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously and communicate effectively on all projects, and anticipate project conflicts and issues
  • Ability to lead project teams and communicate effectively through multiple platforms
  • Ability to manage clients, respond to complex challenges and deescalate disputes
  • Ability to identify and improve interdepartmental efficiencies through new process creation and communication improvements
