About the Role

The Programmatic Media Manager is responsible for day-to-day set up, monitoring, and optimization of performance campaigns across multiple programmatic buying platforms. Buyer should collaborate with all members of the programmatic team to reach campaign CPA and KPI goals while managing margin and ROI.

You will work with campaign stakeholders to develop a buying strategy for each campaign, including ad formats, user targeting, SSP’s, bid strategy, etc. Also, you are responsible for the set-up and launch of programmatic campaign buys, calculating and managing bids, win rates, and CPM goals. Your role will also consist of monitoring live campaigns and adjusting delivery to meet pacing goals, optimize toward CPI/CPA goals, and iterate on strategy as needed. Additionally, you will communicate with Third-Party Vendors to create custom audience segments and Private Marketplace Deals.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Using your analytical mindset, you will be responsible for the platform strategy, execution, performance and reporting of the media campaign across all programmatic buying platforms.
  • Be the programmatic expert for the client on campaign performance and optimisation providing insights into the best strategies and tactics to achieve business objectives.
  • Leverage first party and third-party data for targeting and insights.
  • Oversee the work of specialists, train technical knowledge and manage workflow in the programmatic space.
  • Coordinate assets and tags with vendors and ensuring campaigns are delivering against KPI’s and proactively managing campaign execution.
  • Responsible for overseeing client pacing & performance across digital media portfolio.
  • Recommend forward thinking strategies and innovations.
  • Proactively working with Account Services on campaign set-up and optimisation strategy.
  • Must evaluate ad performance and allocate budget to the highest performing ads while testing new variants to try to beat those top performers.

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of experience in a Programmatic role on the agency side
  • Graduate of a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Associate’s degree program focused on Business, Communication, Marketing, and Market Research fields.
  • Proven experience and success in a Performance Marketing role
  • Media campaign optimization experience + data analysis skills across: GA, DV360 campaign manager, FB campaign manager, the TradeDesk, other reporting dashboards/data lakes
  • Retargeting platform media ad operations experience familiar with website tagging needs for paid media campaign optimization.
  • MUST have worked with internal dev teams to tag website/campaign sites.
  • Needs to have extensive experience managing large budgets while maintaining/increasing positive ROI/ROAS

  • Understanding of programmatic, broad knowledge of media channels.
  • Familiarity with campaign evaluation metrics and media buying.

  • Strong presentation, analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage multiple projects with a broad range of internal and external constituents simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically about complex issues and develop recommendations and action plans
