About the Role

As a Technical Project Manager, you will analyze, plan and develop requirements and standards in reference to scheduled projects. You will hold regular technical team meetings to determine progress and address any questions or challenges regarding projects. Updating and maintaining all production technologies ensuring proper maintenance and installation along with communicating issues and risks with various stakeholders and project owners will be essential.

 

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Analyze, plan and develop requirements and standards in reference to scheduled projects
  • Day to day communication with internal and external development teams, IT operations, etc
  • Hold regular technical team meetings to determine progress and address any questions or challenges regarding projects
  • Determine and define clear deliverables, roles and responsibilities for staff members required for specific projects or initiatives
  • QA process implementation
  • Research and evaluate hardware and software technology options and weigh the cost/benefit analysis when making large purchases on behalf of the company
  • Update and maintain all production technologies ensuring proper maintenance and installation
  • Forecasting and budget management
  • Running/Facilitating Agile/Scrum Methodologies
  • Software migration, certificate renewals, firmware upgrades, technology refresh
  • Communicate issues and risks with various stakeholders and project owners
  • Project Management for a range of projects; ownership of the entire project life cycle from inception to implementation, deployment and post-deployment support

 

About Successful Candidate

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills and experience establishing guidelines in these areas for others
  • Strong sense of personal accountability regarding decision-making and supervising department teams
  • Experience working in a high-level collaborative environment and promoting a teamwork mentality
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to predict challenges and seek to proactively head off obstacles

 

Position Prerequisites

  • Minimum of Bachelor’s degree preferably in Organization Management, Organizational Leadership, Operations Management or a related field or equivalent practical field
  • 2-3 years development experience, flexibility, quickness and a willingness to roll up your sleeves and get work done
  • Experience with Jira
  • Professional Project Management Certification from accredited intuition preferred
  • In-depth knowledge of the SDLC
  • Demonstrate understanding of Project Management processes, strategies and methods
